The new StereoZoom line exemplifies high quality optics, robust and reliable mechanics, and comfortable user interfaces, all at a reasonable price!
Six models and an extensive range of add-ons allow you to choose the optimal performance that will meet your current and future needs. Even the basic Leica S4E model with 4.8:1 zoom for routine inspections (field of view of 36.5 mm!) is encased in a patented antistatic housing and gives you access to the entire assortment of objectives, eyepieces, stands, and to the new Leica L2 stand-adaptable cold light illuminator.
The four Leica StereoZoom 6 models (Leica S6E, S6, S6T, S6D) with 6.3:1 zoom are available with an ergonomic 38° or 60° viewing angle, video/photo tube, or as patented Terminator version for critical applications involving ESD sensitive components. The unique Leica S8APO StereoZoom is the first stereomicroscope with apochromatic Greenough system, 8:1 apochromatic zoom, apochromatic objectives, and integrated phototube. Never before has such high performance been available in a cost effective Greenough optical design instrument. The Leica S8APO delivers an incredible 600 lp/mm resolution and a maximum magnification of 640x, perfect for exacting applications, especially digital documentation and image archival and analysis.
