Cells of Saccharomyces cerevisiae freeze-substituted with Leica EM AFS2
Cells of Saccharomyces cerevisiae were grown to stationary phase. Then they were cryofixed and freeze-substituted with Leica EM AFS2 in acetone containing 0.5 % glutaraldehyde and 0.2 % uranyl acetate and low-temperature embedded in Lowicryl HM20.
