Fully integrated with all Leica microscopes and digital cameras this versatile data management solution vastly improves the acquisition, processing, measurement and reporting of images. LAS Archive is a modular and intelligent environment with a unique Leica workflow interface that makes imaging quicker, easier and more logical than ever before. The Core edition uses an integrated archive to give rapid and convenient access to digital images and all microscope and camera data. LAS Archive Basic and Standard are more advanced, optional editions that build on the Core features to exactly match your needs.

LAS Archive Editions

LAS Archive is available in different editions to exactly match your needs:

LAS Core provides basic functionality for image acquisition, analysis and archiving on single user workstations. It also includes the following:

  • A predefined database structure with a single level
  • The ability to define and name a category to collect images and sequences for easy location
  • Microscope configuration and control, digital camera control, scale bar on live image, calculated calibration, a gallery of images, zoom and pan of selected images and basic image annotation and processing tools.

    • LAS Archive Basic builds on all of the functionality of LAS Core and provides the following:

  • The option of storing microscope and camera data with an image
  • Text search options
  • Field selection to show on Form View
  • Document and audio recording attachment

    • LAS Archive Standard includes all of the features of LAS Core and Basic and offers the following additions:

  • The ability to tailor archives to your specific needs
  • The facilities to add multiple named data fields to a database
  • The ability to create reports that include images in Microsoft Word and export them to pdf or html files
