Leica CVUltra - A new, safe coverslipping reagent from Leica Microsystems

Leica Microsystems is pleased to offer a new and safe mounting medium for all common robotic coverslippers as well as for manual coverlipping procedures. CVUltra is specially tested with the Leica CV5000 and will also be the perfect fit to Leica’s all new CV5030 Coverslipper. This coverslipping reagent is environmentally friendly because it does not contain any dangerous organic solvents. This new mounting media is based on non-ionic acrylate resins solved in saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons. If you are looking for a safe and convenient replacement for traditional xylene-or toluene-containing mounting media, Leica CVUltra is the recommended solution.

Leica CVUltra is very convenient to handle and does not show any "yellow-aging effect" over time of slide storage. With Leica CVUltra you also handle a coverslipping mounting media which can easily be removed after unintentional spillage and does not show any solvent evaporation which is considered a health risk for the lab technician.

Leica CVUltra is available in a card-board box containing 6 bottles with 100 ml each.
