Customer-specific solution on a professional basis: New glass anti-roll systems for the cryostat knife holders Leica CE and CN 1 | 2

The glass anti-roll system for the knife holders Leica CE and CN has been completely redesigned.The new anti-roll system consists of two components: the glass insert and the reusable metal frame. The back of the metal frame is equipped with spacers, guaranteeing optimum distance to the knife holder and therefore high-quality sections. The metal frames of the CE and CN anti-roll systems accommodate glass inserts which are 70 mm and 50 mm in width respectively.

The edges of the glass insert are manufactured using a special procedure, making them more resistant to notches than conventional glass. All 4 edges of the glass insert can be used.

The advantages of the glass: solvent-resistant material that always remains transparent. The glass insert can be reordered separately.

With immediate effect all Leica cryostats will be equipped with the new high-quality anti-roll systems for the knife holders CE and CN.
