Emission spectre of fluorochromes are scanned one step at a time over a defined spectrum (Lambdascan). In order to achieve a more efficient detection of the spectre of combined fluorochrome stainings than with the application of simultaneous scanning, sequential scanning with optimized excitation and detection for each fluorochrome is used.
