Overview
A variety of special microtome oils are available to keep your instrument in perfect condition during its life cycle. Leica Microsystems currently offers different types of oil for different recommended usages:
- Special oils for slideways - type 404
- Special oil for drives - type 405
- Rust preventive oil - type 406
- Cryostat oil - type 407
- Special oil - type 601 (for Leica CM1325, Leica SM2400, and former microtomes 1512, 1516 and 1720)
