Leica Extended Focus is an optional module available to users of Leica QWin Plus, Standard and Pro. This module acquires images at different Z-positions and combines them into a single image, representing the in-focus points. A corresponding depth-map is produced and the surface profile can be displayed from this. This module is normally used with a microscope with a motorised Z-axis, although manual operation is also possible. |
