Leica Microsystems and the Harvard-MIT Biomedical Engineering Center (BMEC) in Cambridge, USA, agreed to co-operate in the field of product development and assessment for the clinical diagnostics and research market. The scope of the agreement includes performance tests of current and new Leica equipment and proposals for improvements and new technology directions. Customers will have the opportunity to get first-hand experience on complex instruments and applications in a world class facility.
