The bibliography is listed at the end of the article with consecutive reference numbers (square brackets) and in the sequence of the authors. References to books should include the title, year and place of publication. References to periodicals should include the full title, the volume number, page number and year of publication.

Illustrations should be confined to a minimum. If possible, they should be enclosed in their original form as paper prints or transparencies. If this is not possible, please only send .tif files with a resolution of 300 dpi. A measuring line indicating the scale (e.g. 1 µm) should be printed in the illustrations.
All photographs, charts and graphs should be given captions, which are referred to with consecutive numbers in the copy (e.g. Fig. 12).
