The contents of the publication should be in keeping with the character of the magazine and deal with one of the following subject areas:

- Scientific dissertations on problems, investigations and results with due attention to technical and instrumental aspects.
- Methodical-instrumental work from all areas of application of our instruments.
- Articles on Leica instruments referring to their range of features and practical uses.
- Brief reports on practical applications.

Please state the place of work of the author(s) on the front page and the exact postal address (private address or address of institute) of the author with all academic titles at the end of the article.

Regarding the copy itself, please note the following:

- Quotations should be identified by consecutive reference numbers in square brackets, e.g. [1,6].
- Avoid boldface or italics if possible.
- Do not underline words (single or double underline).
