The load container is not moving – what is the problem? FAQ Report A: Most likely, the problem is caused by some sort of mechanical obstruction The transport mechanism consists of a chain module located on the bottom of the load area. Check whether the chains are running when the load drawer is pulled out. If not, the chains may be blocked e.g. by broken glass particles or dried mounting medium. Use an appropriate reagent, e.g. xylene, to clean the transport area. If the chain mechanism does still not work after it has been cleaned, you may need to call a Leica service representative for help.
