With day-to-day operational responsibility devolved to our business segment and strategic business unit management, in line with our policy of staying close to the customer and the market, the Leica Microsystems Managing Board has overall responsibility for corporate and financial strategy, marketing and sales, human resources, information technology, logistics, research and development and communications.
