American Society of Cytopathology 2009

The American Society of Cytopathology (ASC) is a professional organization of more than 3,000 pathologists, cytotechnologists, and clinical scientists dedicated to the diagnosis of cancer and related diseases through the cytologic method and its adjunctive techniques.The annual conference, solely committed to cytopathology, updates cytologists on the current practice of cytopathology, encourages the highest quality in clinical cytopathology, fosters research in the early diagnosis and effective treatment of human diseases, and provides a forum for advocacy on behalf of cytologists and their patients.
