In his talk Prof. Tanke will discuss strategies for choosing the right technique, illustrated by a number of research applications including: Time-lapse LM imaging, CW-STED, Cryo-EM tomography and CLEM.

His team has developed hardware to perform fluorescence microscopy under cryo conditions, devices to quickly move from LM to EM and sample preparation methods for CLEM.
