Leica Microsystems now offers Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) imaging systems for clinical ophthalmology and pre-clinical research applications

OCT imaging systems utilize optical interferometry, similar to holography, to produce images of internal tissue microstructures. This non-invasive technique uses low-power, near-infrared light to create cross-sectional views of the target structure.
