NEW Leica EM ACE coaters, fully automated, one touch coating systems
Leica Microsystems announces the release of the NEW Leica EM ACE Coaters, fully automated, one touch coating systems for the preparation of samples for the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) and the Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM).
A coater family to cover all needs
The Leica EM ACE coating systems come in two versions: The Leica EM ACE200 Low Vacuum Coater and the Leica EM ACE600 High Vacuum Coater.
Leica EM ACE200 can either be configured as a sputter coater or a carbon thread evaporation coater. If preferred both methods can be combined in one instrument with interchangeable heads. Options such as Quartz Crystal Measurement, Planetary Rotation Glow Discharge and Exchangeable Shielding are available.
Leica EM ACE600 High Vacuum Coating system can be configured for the following methods: Sputtering, Carbon Thread Evaporation, Carbon Rod Evaporation, E-beam Evaporation and Glow Discharge. Features such as Quartz Crystal Measurement, Rotation and Exchangeable Shielding are included in the standard outfit. A special highlight is the possibility to fit the Leica EM VCT vacuum cryo transfer system to the Leica EM ACE600 - the ideal solution for contamination free cryo SEM sample preparation.
