In July 2009 the new Cryochamber Leica EM FC7 was launched and replaces the Leica EM FC6.
The Leica EM FC6 cryochamber integrates with the Leica Ultracut EM UC6 to provide low temperature sectioning from -15° to -185°C.
The EM FC6 chamber is mounted to the microtome’s chassis and features internal LED chamber illumination that provides excellent visualization of the sample and increased stability.
The rotating knife holder allows quick, reliable knife changing from trimming to sectioning.
