Cold plate for modular tissue embedding system Leica EG1150 C
The Leica EG1150 C cold plate is held at a constant temperature of –5°C to support rapid cooling of embedded blocks and molds.
The easy to load, large-capacity plate can hold in excess of 70 standard cassette molds.
The Leica EG1150 C cold plate can be used as a stand-alone unit for re-cooling blocks prior to sectioning or as part of an embedding center to cool molds after paraffin dispensing. An optional cover reduces frost build-up in high humidity environments.
