Leica RM2125 RTS Manual Rotary Microtome - Configuration 1

The Leica RM2125 RTS ready-to-use Configuration 1 includes:
Basic instrument with X/Y specimen orientation and
fast exchange system for specimen clamps, user selectable
coarse feed wheel turn direction, retraction on/off
function, two mechanical trim steps, blade holder for
disposable blades and universal cassette clamp.

The Leica RM2125 RTS rotary microtome has been
designed for effortless manual sectioning via
a counter-balanced, exceptionally smooth-running
hand wheel.
The object head with 8° X/Y orientation is equipped
with a fast specimen clamp exchange system for
improved workflow.
Storage space on top of the instrument housing
provides room for sectioning tools and accessories.
The instrument features a low-maintenance micro-
meter feed system with backlash- and maintenance-
free vertical cross-roller guides and horizontal
specimen feed via precision cylinder guide system.
Distortion-resistant base plate ensures optimum
overall stability.

The vertical stroke of approx. 59 mm and horizontal
specimen travel range of 25 mm allows users to
section specimens up to a size of 40 mm x 40 mm.
Ergonomically designed hand wheel grip.
Hand wheel lockable in any position via brake lever
attached to base plate and, in addition, lockable
in upper position via hand wheel grip.

Section thickness selectable between 0.5 and 60 µm.
The Leica RM2125 RTS is equipped with specimen
retraction on/off function and a two step mechanical
trimming function for fast and convenient specimen
trimming. Equipped with removable hand rests.
For user convenience, the coarse feed wheel turn
direction, clock- or counter-clockwise, is selectable.
Universal cassette clamp for standard paraffin cassettes.
Knife holder E for disposable blades (low or high) with
knife holder base with lateral displacement function
allows safe operation and economic use of entire blade.
