Multiple Phase Area Percentage Measurement & Analysis Leica Phase Expert
Leica Phase Expert software performs automatic, objective and repeatable measurement of multi-phase microstructures indentified by their distinctive colour or contrast. For example, reflectivity of components in oil-shale; polarisation colours of constituents in a thin rock section for modal analysis. Phase Expert can determine the occurrence of these phases with reference to the overall image or to one of the selected phases.
Images are provided by LAS that integrates the latest advances in automated microscopy, computing and digital image analysis. Phase Analysis for materials and metallurgy laboratories is a routine, yet sophisticated analytical task performed rapidly, efficiently and economically.
