Andrea Pfeifer, Dr.

Andrea Pfeifer is the product manager for the core confocal products, namely the Leica TCS SP8 and optics specialized for confocal imaging, at Leica Microsystems in Mannheim, Germany. Since her diploma thesis, she has worked in confocal microscopy. She obtained her Ph.D. at NIH with Jennifer Lippincott-Schwartz and then moved on to the group of Ursula Klingmüller at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg where she used a systems biology approach to study signal transduction in mammalian cells by quantitative imaging methods.
