Corentin Spriet, Ph.D.
Corentin Spriet, born in Calais, North of France, initially undertook studies in the field of biochemistry. He then switched field in his second year of master’s degree to graduate with honors in the master entitled “Instrumentation and Advanced Analysis” from Polytech Lille. During his Ph.D, Dr Spriet focused on the development of a dedicated microscopy technique called SLiM for molecular interactions studies in heterogeneous living tissues. He is currently working at the Interdisciplinary Research Institute (Villeneuve d’Ascq) in the biophotonic group headed by Laurent Heliot where he is facing new challenges with the development of new procedures for FLIM and FCS measurements in living cells and tissues.
