| 01. | Can I install the printer with Windows 95/98? | |||
| No. You need Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows xP because the IP C and IP S printer driver is only compatible with these Windows versions. | ||||
| 02. | How many lines can I print on a cassette or on a slide? | |||
| Many lines can be printed, however printing too many lines will make the printed information difficult to read, because the font size will be smaller. We recommend printing up to 2 lines on a cassette and up to 5 lines on a slide. | ||||
| 03. | What is important for printing on cassettes and slides? | |||
There are 4 important issues you must take into consideration:

| 04. | Are the IP C and IP S the same devices with a different number of magazines? | |||
| No. The devices look very similar, however there are mechanical differences. The IP C cannot work with slides and the IP S cannot work with cassettes. | ||||
| 05. | Are the hood and the control panel resistant to solvents? | |||
| The control panel and the metal and paint used in the external covers have been used for years in the Leica microtome line and have proven to be solvent resistant and sturdy. | ||||
| 06. | Are the unload stations for slides and cassettes different? | |||
| Yes. They look very similar but the trays and the object pushing mechanism are different. The unload station for slides cannot be used with cassettes. The unload station for cassettes cannot be used with slides. | ||||
| 07. | What are the advantages of the unload stations? | |||
| The unload stations are automatic collecting systems for the IP C and IP S, they consist of 10 trays where cassettes and slides are sequentially arranged after they were printed. Every tray can arrange up to 10 cassettes and 11 slides. Unlo read more ... | ||||
| 08. | How many units can I run at one single power line? | |||

| Yes. But this function depends not on the printer but on the application software, not on the printer. The IP Windows printer driver supports this function also. | ||||
