Product Launch in the P.R.C.

The recent product launch of the new, redesigned Leica RM2125 manual rotary microtome in China was combined with a workshop where the participants had the opportunity to exchange their experience in routine histopathology sample preparation processes. Among the more than 100 participants were technicians, lab directors and well known professors from all parts of China Zhe Jiang Province. 30 technicians of them belong to the final run for the winners of the Sectioning & Processing Competition.
Each of the 10 provincial regions organises a Sectioning Competiton to select the top level technicians in sample sectioning and processing. They select the 3 top technicians to participate in the final campaign during Sept 17-21 in Hang Zhou, which is famous for its west lake. The winner will be paid RMB1500-2000 per person as well as record for later technical title level promotion and salary increase.
The sectioning competition event is organized by the province pathology quality control center and sponsored by the Leica Microsystems PRC selling organisation and its regional exclusive dealer.
