Do you enjoy working with your hands? Would you like to contribute to the production of the core optics of our microscopes?
During your apprenticeship as a precision optician, you will be able to apply the scientific and technical knowledge you learned at vocational school directly into daily practice. You begin with a glass block. In the course of the production process, it becomes an optical component of the highest quality in the form of lenses, prisms or mirrors. A variety of tasks await you, ranging from manual work, such as lapping, grinding and polishing, to working with CNC machines and state-of-the-art measuring technology.

Are you interested in mechanical and electronic processes? Do you want a versatile profession in which you can apply your technical knowledge?
Then an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician is just the thing for you. Is organization exactly your thing? You are communicative, have a good command of the English and German language and are competent with a PC?
Then become part of Leica Microsystems and gain experience in an international company. During your apprenticeship, you will often communicate in the English language. For those whose native language is not English, then you have the chance to take part in the Cambridge program, an English language development course, and obtain a final certificate. You will gain insights into the internal processes and procedures of various departments, such as procurement, personnel management or marketing. You can work on your own projects at an early stage and contribute your own ideas.
