At the Microscopy & Microanalysis 2015 Annual Meeting, August 3 to 6, Leica Microsystems will present the latest EM preparation instruments for biological and material samples at booth #1174. The products are designed to enhance the EM sample preparation workflow and preserve samples in the best possible quality. During several tutorials, our specialists will introduce the Leica EM ICE high-pressure freezer with fully integrated light stimulation and the Leica EM VCT500 vacuum cryo transfer system. At the booth, visitors can also preview the Leica EM BAF900 cryo preparation unit for freeze fracturing, freeze etching, and cryo coating for TEM replicas and cryo SEM imaging.
High Pressure Freezing: The New EM ICE Next Generation High Pressure Freezer
Dr. Cveta Tomova, Product Manager at Leica Microsystems will introduce the new features of the Leica EM ICE and focus on the fully integrated light stimulation feature.
Vacuum Cryo Transfer: The New Connecting Link
Dr. Saskia Mimietz-Oeckler, Product Manager at Leica Microsystems will hold a tutorial focusing on vacuum cryo transfer solutions.
Leica EM Cryo CLEM
The Leica EM Cryo CLEM system was introduced at the 2014 Microscopy & Microanalysis meeting and has been utilized by researchers across the globe to better bridge the information gap between what is observed in light microscopy and the corresponding location in electron microscopy. Dr. Richard Levi Felts, Application Specialist at Leica Microsystems, will present the Leica EM Cryo CLEM system.
