Beate Berns joined Leica as Vice President Global Human Resources in March 2017. She brings significant expertise across the full spectrum of HR, change management and HR consulting from working in leading global IT/professional services companies for over 20 years.
Beate joins us from Avanade, where she has performed a variety of HR leadership roles, most recently as Vice President, Human Resources Europe, during the past 4 years. Beate started her career with Accenture, where she was responsible for all people-related aspects of outsourcing, shared services and M&A engagements.
Beate holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz as well as additional professional qualifications in leadership coaching, training and languages.
Maxim Mamin joined Leica in October 2016 as Vice President Medical Division.
Maxim comes from Siemens Healthcare where he worked in a number of leadership positions and countries for the last 18 years including Russia, Germany, Singapore, South Korea and Malaysia. Most recently, Maxim served as Managing Director for the commercial organization of Siemens Healthcare in Malaysia with full P&L responsibility for the entire portfolio spanning from Imaging to Lab Diagnostics.
Maxim's background is in Medicine and he holds two Medical Degrees from Ludwig-Maximilians University and Moscow Medical Academy. Additionally, he has two MBA degrees from the University of California in Los Angeles and Singapore University.
Marc Orellou joined Leica Microsystems in December 2015 as Vice President Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance (RA/QA).
Marc brings broad RA/QA knowledge and experience from the Medical Device industry. He comes from LivaNova where he held a number of global Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance leadership roles with increasing responsibilities over the past 8 years. Marc served most recently as VP Quality Assurance for the Cardiac Rhythm Management business unit (implantable pacemakers and defibrillators) of LivaNova. Prior to this, Marc began his career with GE Healthcare in various Regulatory Affairs, Quality / Six Sigma, and R&D roles in France (X-ray Mammography) and in the US (Computed Tomography and Surgical Navigation).
Marc holds a master’s degree in Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France.
Selvaraju started with Leica Microsystems in January 2012 as Managing Director, BU Singapore and was promoted to take over responsibility for all assembly sites globally as well as for global optics in September 2016 before taking on his new VP Global Operations role in January 2017.
Before Leica, Raju spent 6 years in various roles of increasing responsibility in Operations and R&D at Perkin Elmer. Prior to Perkin Elmer, he worked in Sony Display Devices in Singapore. Raju holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from National University of Singapore and a Master’s in Business Administration from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
In December 2016, Vincent Tuzi joined Leica as Senior VP of Global Sales. Vincent began his Danaher career at Videojet in 2003, a Danaher Company, where he has held several commercial leadership roles with a history of delivering continued share gain through the implementation of sales processes. Before Danaher, Vincent worked at Hewlett Packard in various commercial roles and worked for Victoria Line as GM and Cegetel/Vivendi as Sales and Marketing Director.
Vincent has a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and a master’s degree in Business from University of Technology Paris with additional advanced training from INSEAD.
Andreas Hecker trat im März 2004 als Optic Design Engineer bei Leica Microsystems ein. Er arbeitete als Senior Project Manager an den Standorten Wetzlar und Mannheim, bevor er 2009 die Leitung der Softwareentwicklung bei der Life Science Division übernahm.
Von 2011 bis 2013 war er auch als R&D Director Digital Pathology bei Leica Biosystems und als Global Director Software Development für Leica Microsystems tätig. Im August 2014 übernahm er die Funktion des Vice President Global Research & Development.
