It´s ELMI-Time! Find more details below about what we are bringing to you during this year’s ELMI conference in Turku on June 7th to 10th

The Leica Microsystems team will be on site at booth #25 and the Teatro room, a large workshop area, where we will host our six workshops.

MICA workshops
Wednesday, June 8 at 13:30
Wednesday June 8 at 16:30
Thursday June 9 at 14:30

Enter the Microhub Era - Meet Mica!

See Mica in action and learn how its sample-centric operation allows straightforward imaging access for all users.
Experience Mica’s dramatic reduction of the time-to-image and training time for non-imaging specialists.
You will also learn how our new FluoSync technology detects four fluorophores simultaneously, in both widefield and confocal!
Finally, discover how Mica radically simplifies the entire imaging workflow, from setting up an imaging experiment through to the AI powered extraction of data.
In this workshop, you will see all these innovations working directly on samples and specimens you see every day – from multi-well plate assays to large tissue sections to model organisms – all on Mica!

STELLARIS Workshops
Wednesday, June 8 at 14:30
Thursday, June 9 at 13:30
Thursday, June 9 at 16:30

STELLARIS: From Power HyD enhanced photon detection to molecular interactions with TauSense
Confocal microscopy has become a staple for fluorescence imaging in the life sciences, owing to its optical sectioning, sensitivity, and the temporal and spatial resolution capabilities. With STELLARIS, we have introduced key innovations such as the Power HyD family of detectors (1), the next generation of white light lasers (WLL), and the TauSense technology (2).
Power Counting, a fully digital and photon counting proprietary approach, allows straightforward and robust quantification of fluorescence signals in STELLARIS. Together with the WLL excitation flexibility, STELLARIS delivers extended near infrared capabilities for expanding the palette of fluorophores in every experiment. In addition, TauSense opens the door to functional imaging insights by providing easy access to fluorescence lifetime-based information.

In this workshop we will show how the technological innovations in STELLARIS facilitate fluorescence quantifications. We will also unveil a new TauSense tool built to evaluate molecular interactions. Join us for a first-hand view of what STELLARIS can bring to functional imaging.

You won’t just experience Mica and STELLARIS in our workshops – we are ready to discuss our new Coral-Cryo innovation with you, a workflow solution enabling you to increase your success rate in cryo-electron tomography experiments through high precision confocal 3D targeting.
We are also happy to showcase the highlights of our AI-powered image analysis solution Aivia. Aivia makes AI-enhanced image analysis accessible, leveraging machine learning capabilities to generate robust and reproducible segmentation results. Join us to see how powerful and fast 2-5D visualization and analysis can unleash the value of your data.
Finally, we will have a THUNDER IMAGER on site to showcase how THUNDER and AIVIA synergize effectively to acquire and analyze crisp, clear images.
We are happy to welcome you in our workshops (and of course also outside of the workshop slots) in the Teatro room and at our booth #25.

See you in Turku!
