Yvonne Begus-Nahrmann , Dr.

Dr. Yvonne Begus-Nahrmann has specialized in intestinal telomere shortening and tumor development as an issue of gerontology. Originally, she studied biology in Heidelberg and began her dissertation at the Medical University in Hanover under the supervision of Professor Rudolph. Working first in Hanover, then in Ulm, she was then able to continue and publish her work at the newly founded Institute for Molecular Medicine of the Max-Planck research group for stem cell aging.  After completing her dissertation, she moved to the Medical Center of the University of Göttingen, where she continues to research tumor development and aging, currently focusing on epigenetic factors.
