Elisa Rambaldi , PhD
She obtained a Ph.D. in "Materials Engineering" in 2005 and Geology Science Degree in 2000, both at the University of Bologna (Italy). From 2005 to 2008, she was a tutor for the academic course "Chemical Applied Technology" with Prof. G. Timellini at the University of Bologna. Since 2005, she is a researcher at Centro Ceramico Bologna (CCB) [Bologna Ceramic Center]. Her scientific and research activity is related to innovation technology, the properties and performance of silicate based ceramics, and the study and characterization of advanced ceramics. She is author of more than 70 scientific works (about 30 publications in international and national journals and about 40 conference presentations). She is a winner of the "Pfeil Award 2010" by IOM3, the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, London, UK.
