Aymeric Leray, CNS Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Research Institute (IRI) in Villeneuve d'Ascq, France, has more than seven years experience in the field of non linear microscopy for biological applications. He studied physics at the National Institute of Applied Science (INSA) in Rennes, France. After graduation he obtained a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Rennes with a thesis on multiphoton microscopy for biological imaging. He moved to Boston University, USA in the Biomedical Engineering Department where he worked on multiphoton microscopy with laser wavefront modifications. He is currently a CNRS Researcher in the Biophotonics team at the Interdisciplinary Research Institute (IRI) in Villeneuve d'Ascq and developed coherent anti-Stokes Raman Scattering (CARS) microscopy.
