Renuga Devi Rajaram

Dr. Renuga Devi Rajaram studied biology in Madurai Kamaraj University, India. After qualifying state and national level educational testing, she has worked as a Lecturer in Microbiology Department. Then, she moved to Switzerland in 2004 and joined the laboratory of Prof. Cathrin Brisken at Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research (ISREC) as a Trainee. In 2005, she joined the International PhD program offered by Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (ISREC-EPFL) and continued her training in the lab of Prof. Cathrin Brisken and obtained a doctorate in Molecular Biology of Cancer and Infection in 2010. After successful completion of her PhD thesis, she opted to continue in the same lab for a short postdoctoral training with the support of a Marie Heim-Vögtlin (MHV) postdoctoral fellowship from the Swiss National Science Foundation. Since 2012, she is working as SNF Senior Researcher in the group of Prof. Olivier Staub in the department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Lausanne.
