Anna Szymborska

Anna Szymborska studied Biotechnology at the Technical University of Lodz in Poland and received an engineering degree in 2008 after completing her master’s research at the University of Chicago, USA. For her PhD she joined the laboratory of Dr. Jan Ellenberg at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg, Germany where she studies the biology of the nuclear pore complex using advanced microscopy techniques.
