Martin Gamerdinger , PhD

Martin Gamerdinger earned a PhD in biochemistry in 2009 from the University of Mainz in Germany. His research uses biochemical molecular genetic approaches for the analysis of eukaryotic protein quality control systems. He is currently a junior research group leader at the University of Constance in Germany. In 2009, Dr. Gamerdinger received the Boehringer Ingelheim-Prize for his studies of protein homeostasis pathways in models of aging and age-related protein conformational disease.
