Caroline Kane , Ph.D.

Caroline M. Kane recently retired after more than 25 years at the University of California, Berkeley, where her research group studied the regulation of transcription elongation in eukaryotic cells.  She is the Principal Investigator in the American Society for Cell Biology project that created The Cell: An Image Library, and she is working with the National Center for Microscopy and Imaging Research in developing this new resource, The Cell, an integration of the Cell Centered DataBase with The Cell: An Image Library.
