She obtained a Biomedical Electronic Engineering Degree in 2002 at the University of Bologna. From 2003 to 2004, she worked at the Clinical Engineering Service (USL of Modena) in the management of information systems and radiological equipment. Since December 2004, she is working at the Centro Ceramico Bologna (CCB) [Bologna Ceramic Center], a laboratory of the High Technology Network of Emilia-Romagna, in Advanced Technical Ceramics on the subject of photovoltaic functionalization of ceramic surfaces. Since 2005, she is a researcher at CCB. Her research and studies concern the surface characterization of ceramic materials, in particular their electrical and optical properties and roughness. She is co-author of several publications in international journals and presentations at international conferences.
