Ronaldo has a Bachelor’s Degree in Automation & Control Engineering from the Federal Center of Technological Education of Minas Gerais (2014). He also has a specialized degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2016). Afterwards, he did a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2017), working as a graduate research assistant with Prof. Marcio Carvalho’s laboratory. The purpose of the research project was to investigate innovative enhanced oil recovery techniques through the use of confocal microscopy. Additionally, he worked on processing of marine 3D seismic data at CGG. Nowadays, he is pursuing a CFA charter designation from the CFA Institute and working with equity research analysis.
