I have a biophysical training with a focus on high spatial and temporal resolution fluorescence microscopy investigation of protein dynamics and organization within living cells.

My key research focuses have been: (i) the characterization of the photophysical behavior of fluorescent proteins used in Photoactivated Localization Microscopy studies (ii) the application of quantitative super-resolution microscopy methods to probe cell-specific GPCR plasma membrane supramolecular arrangement; (iii) the development of high temporal resolution 3D-tracking techniques using a multiphoton microscope to capture rapid kinetic processes.

I am currently applying image correlation spectroscopy methods to characterize the dynamics and oligomerization state of class A GPCRs and their signaling cascades.
