Thomas Mathivet

Dr. Thomas Mathivet studied Biology at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMc -Université Paris VI). In 2007, he joined the experimental medicine department at Collège de France to study the role of axonal guidance molecules in developmental vascular biology in mice. He finished his doctorate in 2011 at Collège de France and Yale and continued working on pathological vascular biology. After a postdoctoral position at the Vesalius Reasearch Center (VIB) in Leuven (Belgium), where he developed his in vivo imaging skills, he joined the Paris Cardio-Vascular Institute (PARCC-INSERM U970) where he studies central nervous system vascular pathologies.
