Tracy Tran

Tracy Tran is a PhD candidate in the McMahon laboratory in the Eli and Edythe Broad Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research at the University of Southern California. Tran and colleagues integrated imaging and sequencing technology to evaluate in vitro derivation of human kidney cell types. Acknowledging the similarities and differences between in vivo and in vitro derived cell types, the McMahon group are currently utilizing the hESC-derived kidney organoids to study kidney disease progression and kidney development.
