University of Ulm, Institute of Applied Physiology, Germany
The Institute of Applied Physiology consists of three research groups:
- AG Prof. Liss - Molecular Neurophysiology: The research group examines cell specific functions and gene expression of dopamine producing neurons in midbrain which is disturbed in diseases like Morbus Parkinson, drug addiction or schizophrenia
- AG PD Metzler - Calcium Signalling: The research group examines the electromechanical coupling and the calcium signalling of the skeleton muscles
- AG Prof. Grissmer
