Video: High Speed Scanning – With two Scanners in one System
How to optimize acquisition parameters by combining a FOV scanner with a high speed resonant scanner
High speed scanning is necessary to image rapidly changing biological processes. With traditional scanning techniques, imaging speed is limited by the number of fluorophores in a specimen. And, rapid acquisition often comes at the cost of image resolution.
This video demonstrates how the Leica Microsystems’ Tandem Scanner works and why this two-in-one system helps you to optimize acquisition parameters based on your experimental needs. The Leica TCS SP8 combines the FOV scanner, for the widest field of view and image format, with a second high speed resonant scanner. This allows you to choose between a large field of view and high speed for uncompromised imaging.
