Fast 3D in vivo imaging of Nematostella vectensis (Cnidaria)

Freely moving Nematostella vectensis, with endogenous signal for cilia, nematosomes and clusters of freely circulating cnidocytes (green), and dextran red fluorescence (magenta). Images acquired on STELLARIS with a Power HyD S detector.

Endogenous signals and fluorescence were separated with TauGating. 340 volumes acquired in 12 min 45 s, time stamps, center top. Scale axis in x and y shown; z depth, 40.23 µm.
