Digital color camera for stereo microscopes Leica IC 3D

Print
A complete 3D picture of microscopic specimens, seen through the eyepieces to on-screen, is at the user’s fingertips using the Leica IC 3D.

The Leica IC 3D is a complete 3D imaging system. Images that could previously only be visualized through stereo microscope eyepieces can now be captured and displayed electronically.

The system starts with a high-performance stereo microscope and includes dual-chip digital camera.

The system can produce a true 3D image on screen for training purposes and capture these images for further processing to reveal specimen measurement data such as profile, surface area, and volume.

Your Advantages

Dual-chip camera

A dual-chip camera is used to capture two single images from each of the stereomicroscope’s optical axes, and then the camera recombines the images into a single, high-quality image.

User-friendly software

Intuitive, user-friendly software controls the camera and offers a variety of functions to adjust imaging quality to obtain the best possible results.

Field and color reproduction

The depth of field and color reproduction of the image correspond to the view through the eyepieces of a stereomicroscope.
