Francesco Cutrale

Dr. Cutrale is an innovator tackling biomedical imaging challenges.  With a background in medical physics and microscopy, he creates novel solutions to open problems in biomedicine research, translating them into real world applications.  After completing his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at University of California Irvine, he joined California Institute of Technology as a postdoctoral fellow and, subsequently, University of Southern California, where he is Assistant Professor of Research and Director of Computation and Image Processing for the Translational Imaging Center.  He is cofounder of numerous startups in the field of imaging and image analysis.
