Scott Fraser

Prof. Fraser is a multi-disciplinary researcher who serves as Provost Professor of Biological Sciences and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California (USC). He drives forward USC’s Initiative in Convergent Bioscience as the Elizabeth Garrett Chair in Convergent Bioscience and Director of Science Initiatives.  He applies his training in physics and biophysics to develop needed technologies for basic, clinical and translational research, guided by interactions he obtains through joint appointments in the Departments of Physiology and Biophysics, Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine, Pediatrics, Radiology, and Ophthalmology.
