The Istituto Romagnolo per lo Studio dei Tumori "Dino Amadori" - IRST is a center of excellence entirely dedicated to treatment, research and training in the field of oncology. IRST, which is part of the Emilia-Romagna Regional Health Service, has been set up as the hub of Romagna's oncology network based on the most recognized international experience. Together with the Azienda USL della Romagna, it supports the coordinated management of oncology in the region, based on the principles of cooperation and collaboration between the nodes of the network, while at the same time improving the skills of the individual centers and the proximity of care for all citizens.
