The Leica DM4500 P LED is a high-end polarization microscope with intelligent light and contrast management. It operates with a mechanical Z-drive and mechanical stage. As an option, the microscope can also be retrofit with a motorized fine focus drive or scanning stage.
The brightness of the image remains constant and the contrast is brilliant when switching to a different magnification. The contrast and light manager automatically adjusts the microscope for best image quality.
The automated read out of the illumination settings and magnification make the Leica DM4500 P LED the perfect tool for all applications requiring reproducible, reliable results.

Superior image quality with LED illuminationThe ultra-bright LED illumination is perfectly integrated in the microscope automation and suitable for all contrasting methods. The LED provides a constant color temperature at all intensity levels. With at least 50.000 hours lifetime the LED illumination is costeffective, as frequent bulb exchanges are no longer necessary. |
6-position, centerable, coded nosepieceFrom overview to high magnification objectives, the Leica DM4500 P is ideal for even the most challenging imaging. With a built-in magnification changer (1.6x) on the conoscopy module, the available magnification range can be significantly increased. When the Leica DM4500 P is linked with LAS software the selected magnification is automatically stored with the image. Your advantage: always correct calibration of your images and reproducible microscope and camera settings. |

Guided display and codingThe interaction between the display and coding of the individual modules allows the microscope to guide the user’s work. Often used functions or repetitive workflow steps can be freely programmed on the buttons of the microscope stand.
