Tune into any Excitation with Supercontinuum Confocal Leica TCS SP5 X

Print
The Leica TCS SP5 X ‘white light laser’ confocal can excite the dyes of today and tomorrow with ideal spectral detection.

With the Leica TCS SP5 X Supercontinuum Confocal researchers can tune excitation wavelengths to perfectly match fluorophores, turn down laser power, and thereby increase viability for longer live cell experiments.

Researchers can freely choose any excitation line within the continuous range of 470nm to 670nm in 1nm increments.

Any dye can be optimally excited with minimum cross-excitation and specimen damage and up to eight excitation lines can be used simultaneously.

Your Advantages

Five detection channels

With up to five detection channels, the Leica TCS SP5 X is the only confocal system that fully adapts to the specimen, and not to the limitations of the hardware.

Excitation mapping

New GFP mutants are perfectly separated by excitation mapping - true spectral separation allows the use of both emission scan dye separation and excitation scan dye separation for a new dimension in spectral imaging.

Provides maximum efficiency

Spectral detection technology provides maximum efficiency and full tunability for the best image quality and least crosstalk in multiparameter fluorescence.
